Microsoft’s next big update for Windows 10, known as Threshold 2, is set for release on Nov. 10, bringing with it UI Edge updates and stability fixes.

With the latest version due on Patch Tuesday (November 10, 2015) here are 2 great articles of what’s coming in the NEXT update and release.  Build 10576 has been in the hands of insiders for a few weeks now and we are seeing steady progress on many elements of the OS, however not in the area’s one would hope.  Additions and restoration of features for the EDGE Browser or to Windows Mail are not in this cycle of updates.  EDGE items have been rumored to be pushed into 2016 and possibly into the next major release cycle in late 2016.

Adoption of the EDGE browser the replacement for Internet Explorer, has been low and slow.  Many reasons for this are, just too many things missing in it.  Users expect today’s modern browsers to offer (Book Mark/Favorite Management, Addon’s, Ability to Block AD, Disable Flash, Customization, ect.. )

Windows Mail Client still lacks the ability to easily provide Group emails, as well as many other features that were in the 8.1 version.  Those desiring these items must look Office 365.  However those missing options are also pushing many to other online services that offer these for free via WebEmail.

Windows 10 is becoming more stable however it’s not been without it FAULTS or GAFF’s  along they way.  One can only hope Microsoft will step up their understanding of what users expect from their software an NOT JUST LISTEN to their own AD Campaigns.
