New update to the Weather Room revision 3.1 3.0. You will notice some new tabs and features have been added.  

  • Forecast Weather and Forecast’s added, using geoLocation data obtained from a visitors IP address.  This provides localized weather experience for the visitors area.  Current sources include Forecast.io as well as the National Weather Service.
  • Weather Outlook  Predictive Outlook is a new feature that carries outlook maps for Days 1-8 as well as Tornadic, Hail and Wind probabilities.  Days 1-3 contain as severe weather probabilities as well.  Each day has a clickable link to the source of this data as well as a link to read the text discussion for each day.
  • Raw weather Data is located on a Tab under each of the Dallas Metro and OKC Metro weather tabs.  The  new weather forecast is in place for both DFW/Metro area as well as Oklahoma City.  This will be changing shortly as well bringing back the  This provides IP specific conditions according to the to your IP Address.  Some work on the scripts need to be worked out to do this.   We do expect to be moving a portion of this soon to it’s own tab relating to IP Related Forecasts.
  • Weather Feed Live tab you will notice there is NO Feed available at this time.  We had a link to Weather Nation there.  At this time they are no longer providing a free stream.
