The Raspberry Pi Team Recently demonstrated XBMC at the Scale 10x event that was held over the weekend. The video below shows, the XBMC running smoothly as they demonstrate the navigation menus. The 1080p HD output of the two videos looked great, with no glitches. Raspberry Pi features built in HDMI-out, Ethernet (in the $35.00 Model B), as well as a USB port. Everything you need to create a really inexpensive media center.
Cases are not available yet but an enclosure is easy to make, some folks have used lego’s.
A site is now live covering this, Raspbmc a minimal linux distribution for the unit.
