It’s long been talked about, now the Russian’s are going to attempt it. The cloning and revival of a LONG DEAD species that disappeared from our planet many many years ago.
Using DNA recovered from a mammoth, scientists hope to clone the animal. Using similar procedures to what was used in the 2009 cloning of an extinct Pyrenean Ibex. The Russian and Japanese team doing the work say they expect to have a living specimen in 5 years.
