Well just about the time folks start to say they have EVERYTHING figured out about MAN’s past on this planet, something NEW comes along that they can’t wrap their minds around how it got there. The latest, a BRASS belt buckle of Asian origin, most likely Chinese found in Alaska. This is something I’ve always loved about the science of archeology, they stand historians on their heads from time to time and even force the rewritting of books that have stood as historical fact for hundreds of years. Some finds through out the world have even lead to confirmations in the worlds religious beliefs. Any way you look at it. The find is exciting and soon we will know more about the movements of mans anchestor’s in Alaska.
