Update 4:13pm DailyMail is reporting, officials trace hackers to Russian location.
Update 11.25.2011 11:02am – Most reports are reporting that this was NOT a hack now. The State-Journal Register, from Springfield Illinois is reporting that the FBI and DHS now think that this was NOT a hack attempt. They also go on to report the Blogger from ControlGlobal.com is standing by his statement regarding the Hack.
Update 11.26.2011 8:25am – Washington Post reporting that the Hack was a NON event. The Russian connection was a contractor that had remote access to the system who was travelling in Russia on personal business.
Update 12.1.2011 7:01am – Wired has a great piece this morning completing this story. How this comedy of errors came about. It’s almost good enough you’d think someone in Hollywood dreamed it up as a comedy.
