Downloading this thing now. Let’s see if they fixed the issues with the last one’s install. I can say it’s taking forever to download from Apples servers this morning. For those wondering you can check back a few weeks to what I had to deal with to get my IPhone 4 upgrade to iOS 5.0 and all the trouble it had. Link can be found here..
UPDATE 8:32am Painless, now if the first one had gone that well I’d NOT be the new owner of a Jawbone headset. Very painless update now lets see how it does for performance. Only issue I ever had iOS 5.0 after the upgrade fiaso, was the slow typing in the keyboard mode.
Update 11:40am TGDaily is reporting that there are reports in Apples forums that this update has made some. IPhone’s battery issues WORSEN since the update. We will continue to follow this story.
Update 12:00am Spotted another article from AllThingsD, that apple state, “We continue to investigate a few remaining issues.”
