Apple iTunes flaw ‘allowed government spying for 3 years’ – Telegraph.
Wow, now this comes to light. After a family member last week was hacked via Itunes.
Support for Itunes has LONG been complained about by industry security experts as well as consumers. Having only the method of sending an email to someone in the world and being told they will GET BACK to you in 24-72 hours. Often times with NO solution to your matter at hand. No one to call about the issue. With no real competition Apple has been able to carry on with this kind of attitude.
With Google Music’s launch and a few others coming up. It may be that things are changing. A 3 year old security flaw being finally patched is a good sign that maybe things are headed in the right direction.
