Windows 8 Task Manager: Can Microsoft see the forest for the trees? | ExtremeTech.
After having reviewed Windows 8 myself a few weeks back. It still has a LONG way to go including alot of HELP finding the tools you normally would use to run windows. Gone is the intuitive ways of Windows 7 and now more new FLUFF with no explanation as to how to find things was my feeling of the developer preview. Windows 8 will NOT be for the user that does not adapt well to change. As for the TASK Manager, I did feel that this was ONE of the Greatest standouts in the whole release. Very well done and the look and feel was GREAT. Made findout out what may be the CPU HOG very easy. I’m hoping the Redmond will LEARN from the Windows ME and VISTA experiences and give users the ABILITY to adopt the new features of Windows 8 or stay with the familiar Windows 7 look and feel. OH yeah and learn from Apples recent upgrade.. Keep the COST LOW so more folks will adopt it.
