#CES2012 well underway, it’s time to take a look at what’s coming next from software Giant Microsoft. Folks at the show got a hands on look at the new OS, with a pre-beta version of the operating system today. #Windows8 build 8175.
Microsoft confirmed recently leaked images that revealed a color picker for the Start Screen, and a translucent Charms Bar. Windows 8 build 8175 includes the ability to switch the Start Screen colors, and you’ll see from our hands-on pictures that there’s a high level of customization available.
We have had a copy of the Developer Preview and I can say after using it now for a while it’s a big and gutsy step forward for Microsoft. One not leaving much backward compatibility in look and feel. I’m hoping that some of that has been addressed in this next update.
